Guide 02
How to read wagering and bonus terms
Welcome offers are advertising. The real decision sits in the terms: what counts toward playthrough, which games contribute, and how long you have.
Wagering requirements
A wagering (or playthrough) requirement is a multiple applied to bonus funds, free-spin winnings, or sometimes deposit plus bonus. Example shape only: if a £10 bonus carries 30x wagering on the bonus, you would need £300 in qualifying stakes before related funds can be withdrawn, subject to the operator’s full rules.
Higher multiples mean more staking before cashout. Lower multiples are simpler for newcomers — which is why our homepage match scores reward clear offer wording, not bigger headline numbers.
Game contribution
Slots often contribute 100% toward wagering; table games and live dealer titles may contribute less or nothing. If you planned to clear a bonus on blackjack, check that line first. Providers and titles can be excluded entirely.
Time limits and caps
Bonuses expire. Free spins usually expire faster than match funds. Many offers also cap convertible winnings from free spins. Missing a deadline typically voids remaining bonus money — not a glitch, a stated rule.
Opting in and eligibility
Some promotions apply automatically; others need a code or button. Country, payment method exclusions and “one per household” rules appear often. New-account offers usually require that you have not held an account with that brand (or group) before.
Spin Back Room describes offer types on operator cards. Exact figures change; always confirm on William Hill, Duelz, Lottoland, NYSpins, Los Vegas or whichever site you choose.
What we never imply
Bonus funds are not “free money” in the everyday sense — they are conditional credits. Nothing in an offer guarantees profit. If terms feel unclear, skip the promotion and play only with cash you are prepared to lose, or do not play at all.
